Optoma unveils ultra-portable projectors delivering up to an astonishing 3100 ANSI Lumens from a 1.4kg projector

London, May 2013. – Optoma introduces the W304M and X304M native WXGA (1280 x 800) and XGA (1024 x 768) projectors that bring together stunning high brightness and a truly portable design to give the best of all worlds to the business professional on the move. Boasting an immense 3100/3000 ANSI Lumens (W30M/X304M) respectively the new projectors shine even in brightly lit environments whilst still being small enough to fit into the briefcase of the most demanding of frequent travellers.

Featuring a full range of analogue and digital inputs including HDMI v1.4a for full 3D support, connectivity to the latest digital devices is simple and straightforward. Not only is the business-user able to deliver seamless presentations with bright clear images, but Full 3D HD content from film and games, either at home or on the move, is entirely catered for.

Presentations are easily remotely controlled with the dedicated left and right click mouse buttons on the included remote control and a built in laser pointer ensures that the needs of the presenter are fully catered for.

Powered by Texas Instruments’ DLP® and BrilliantColor™ technologies for more accurate life-like images, the W304M and X304M benefit from a stunning 10,000:1 contrast ratio, guaranteeing sharp and vibrant pictures in every situation. Indeed, so confident is Optoma of its picture quality that its industry unique guarantee warrants colour quality will remain as new for at least five years.

The W304M and X304M incorporate energy saving features to conserve power and extend the lamp life up to 5000 hours. Eco modes reduce power consumption and a sleep timer will automatically switch off the projector if it is accidentally left on. A <0.5W standby mode ensures minimum energy consumption when the projector is not being used but guarantees fast start up times.

The new projectors represent the very latest in portable projector technology from Optoma.
