Optoma projectors now compatible with smart VueMagic™ app

Optoma, award-winning projector manufacturer, has just revealed a selection of its ProScene range (X501, W501 and EH501) are now compatible with the Pixelworks VueMagic™ app. This smart app is designed for mobile presenting from a smartphone or tablet and is free to download for both Android and iOS devices.

Optoma’s Head of Product Marketing, Justin Halls, said: “VueMagic™ gives presenters the freedom to move around the room, share ideas and connect with an audience like never before, to create a more collaborative experience for everyone. This smart app also enables any mobile device’s touch screen to browse, flick between slides and pinch-to-zoom. What’s more, no upgrade is required to the projector.”

Mobile video streaming

The VueMagic™ app can be used in conjunction with a mobile device’s camera to stream live images directly to a projector, instantly turning it into a portable visualiser; ideal for sharing ideas with larger groups.

VueMagic™ can also be used to annotate directly onto a presentation in multiple colours, either freehand or using the tools provided.

Designed for large venues, lecture theatres, auditoriums and conference rooms, Optoma’s compatible projectors are ideal for mobile presenting. The ProScene X501, W501 and EH501 boast a high brightness of 4,500-5,000 lumens, excellent connectivity, optional wireless capability and amazing colours.
